Finally catching up on some post processing after the wedding season. We met Ellen and Elliot out at Coffee Creek in Chesterton, IN over a month ago to get their engagement session in before the weather started getting bad. Elliot is a youth pastor and Ellen is at the university in Valparaiso. This is a great couple and we can’t wait to photograph their wedding next year. To see all the images go to Client Galleries.
It’s hard for me not to become emotionally attached to our couples, it may be the hardest part of this career … at least for me. Melissa & Dwight are one of those couples that it just seems are constantly on your mind. I loved being a part of their day, I know that is said over and over from photographers but I really did look forward to this day and being there to witness. They are truly a wonderful couple and I enjoyed documenting their wedding day. Blessings, Melissa & Dwight!
Nicole and Matthew were married at The Nativity in Portage, IN on a beautiful Autumn day. Di went with the bride for some getting ready images at her parents home and I went with the groom to capture more getting ready images. After the ceremony and formals we went with the wedding party over to Portage Lakeshore Park for more images. It was a beautiful day to be at the beach and I was surprised to see so many people still swimming in Lake Michigan. After being at the beach we went to Avalon Manor for the reception and the fun.
