RH Francis Photography – Northwest Indiana Wedding Photographer

I’ve been playing around with some images trying to develop a new technique. This isn’t for every image but I kinda like the effect. I basically just added more detail / definition and then added a texture overlay. Here are the images:

We went out with Hays and Bri to Las Vegas to be married. We spent some time at the Neon Graveyard, this is where they store the old neon signs. It’s an amazing place and a lot of fun to just walk around in. Although you need an appointment for a photo shoot (expensive) it’s a great place to go for an engagement session if you are ever in Vegas. We spent 5-days in Vegas and would have liked to have seen more than what we did, but we were able to get in the major sites and walk around a lot. Melissa and Chris were married in Valparaiso at the Memorial Opera House and then had their reception at The Radisson in Merrillville, IN. We had a great time with this couple and their wedding party, this was one wedding party that was ready to dance …. and dance all night. I was exhausted just watching them. Great party! Just finished with Cassie and Jake’s wedding that we had out in Bremen, IN at the Lutheran Church. We had a great time with this couple and their wedding party. The reception was in Bourbon, IN at the gun club. Too bad it was so dark outside because there would have been some great photo opportunities there. Chrissy and Deon were married at Heritage Lutheran Church in Valparaiso on a beautiful but cold Saturday. While Di was at Chrissy’s parents home taking some great pictures of the bride I took the guys on a walk thru Valparaiso for some urban shots. We did backup traffic a few times but everyone was patient with us. The groom is from South Africa along with some of his groomsmen plus others were from Germany and England. Great group of guys. The wedding party was awesome and definitely into pictures which made it so easy on us to get some great shots. The reception was at the home of Chrissy’s parents in the largest tent I have ever seen. Along with both a band and DJ this was a nite of fun and dancing.
