Tea Party in Valparaiso, IN

Yesterday I took some time to go and photograph the Tea Party that was held at the courthouse square in Valparaiso, IN. I was surprised by the amount of people in attendance. I figured maybe a couple dozen at the most but was amazed that there was at least 300-500 unhappy with the government citizens. These parties have been springing up all over the nation showing that a certain portion of the population of the USA is displeased with the level of corruption infested in our government (both democrats and republicans). These people are demanding change and I don’t think it’s the kind that Obama was campaigning for. From this crowds perspective, the government and politicians are self-serving themselves and not the American public who elected them. Should be interesting times. Here are some pictures.

Hillary Clinton and Evan Bayh in Valparaiso, IN

I was given the opportunity to come and photograph Hillary and Evan Bayh when they were campaigning at Washington Township School. It was a great crowd for Hillary, everyone in the auditorium was very excited to see her. Plenty of teachers, union folks were on hand to welcome her to the area. I had a great time at the event, especially watching the secret service agents do their thing. Here are some of the pictures I took.
